| Long time no post, but no one is really reading this any way. I
have noticed that the font I have on this website seems to be different
depending on what kind of browser i am using. I am not quite sure why
its doing that, i may be the code i am using of what not, but its still
really strange. Anyhoo, last weekend was difinately one of the
best i have had in a while. It's not because I did some super
awesome mindblowing things because i didn't. I just hung out with
family and friends doing normal things. Chilling at IHOP with
friends at like 2 in the morning, shopping for new doors for the house
with mom, going to my hometown church, you know things like that.
But I wouldn't have had it any other way. Sometimes its great to
do the super awesome mindblowing things because that's what they are,
but you know just the simple normal everyday kind of things have their
own charms too.

| Hey,
I was talking to a friend the other day and he laughed at me
about the fact i have happy songs. You know those songs that no
matter what is going on, or has happened, once you hear that song all
seems right with the world. I have lots of songs like that from
different artists like Ella Fitzgerald or Switchfoot. His idea of
happy music is any song by Coldplay and that is great. Not all
happy songs should sound the same, but should have the same effect you
know. Or maybe you don't. The next time you listen to
music, see how it affects you and you will see what i mean.
-Esteban (p.s. yes i know i am little off the rocker, but it makes life
more interesting)

| Hey everybody,
I am sure by now you have all heard about the
new hurricane coming up, Rita. It seems that the evacuation and
caution process is being handled ten times better than in Lousiana but
still keep those people and cities in south Texas in you thoughts and
prayers. They are going to need them. -Esteban

| I have just realized that I am subscribed to more poeple than people
are subscribed to me. I guess its no big deal. Or maybe i
just have a lot of xanga stalkers who don't like to leave comments.
bah, who cares?

| Hey guys whats up?
How many of you guys actually went to the football
game like i asked? Huh? Huh? Its okay if you didn't, though
you would of seen one amazing......defeat. Boy did we get
schooled in the game of football. You know what the final score
was? 2-56 I think. there was one point in the the game when we
were pushed back at least 30 yards from the the place we caught the
ball. It almost like a car wreck, you know its horrible to behold
but you just can't look away. There were good things at the game
though like the half time show, with yours truly totally rocking it out
on the saxophone. The illustrious Green Brigade Marching Band
perfomed its opener, (Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin) to the enjoyment of
the spectators. The North Texas dancers also perfomed to the hip
and jivin' tune, Disco Inferno. They of course danced their tails of as
always so all in all the best part of the football game wasn't even the
game but us. Well its always been like that but for once I wish
the the game was as enjoyable to watch as we are. We might get more
people into the stands. At the end of the game the band played
the fight song, the alma mater and the tune You will never walk
alone. the last song is almost the bands theme song of something
and it's very important to the band directors and faculty at UNT.
The song itself is gorgeous and very uplifting you should definately
check it out. Many people have sung their own take on the song
including, barbara streisand, the righteous brothers and elvis.
bt anyways while we were playing the song the lights in the stadium
went out and fireworks started to go off at the end of the
stadium. Don't worry that was supposed to happen. it was a
cool effect as we finished the song and just watched the rest of the
firework show. It was very cool. Fireworks are one of my
favorite things in life so it was like a mini 4th of July for me.
Well thankfully this very long day is over, (i was involved today from
2 till the end of the football game and i could go home, pretty much my
entire day) and i am glad to be in my room just chillin'. Im a
little sad i couldn't go to church with my friends but there is
always tomorrow. On that note i leave you and hope you have a
great rest of the weekend -Esteban
